CPR Rescue dogs up for adoption!

Minnie Belle
Chihuahua- 6 months old - female

 ADOPTED

Minnie Belle is 6-months old and a tiny little bundle of sunshine! She is the happiest little dog EVER! She loves everyone...all dogs, people, cats. And she's non-stop action. Minnie loves to run, and run and run. And play and play and play. We would love to see Minnie Belle go to a home with another dog for her to play with and maybe some children. But whoever adopts this little girl will be endlessly entertained. Her foster mom calls her "the perfect dog!" You can apply for Minnie Belle online by going to the "How to Adopt" page.

Gordy
Lab mix - 5 months old - male

ADOPTED

Gordy is a very sweet 5-month old lab mix. His mom was a black lab mix and we don't know who the dad was. Gordy is a bit shy as he wasn't in a very social situation his first few weeks. But he is a happy boy who wags his tail constantly. He is in a foster home with his little sister, Lizzy and they are having a great time exploring the backyard and trying to learn about potty training. ! Gordy is a sweet, gently little soul and will make a great family pet. If you'd like to adopt Gordy, please go to the "How to Adopt" page and fill out the online application. A volunteer will then contact you.

Lizzie
Lab mix - 5 months old - female

ADOPTED

Lizzy is an adorable 5-month old lab mix female with a trace of maybe heeler or border collie. And that means she's got brains AND beauty!  Her mom was a black lab mix and father unknown. Lizzy and her little brother, Gordy, did not get a lot of socialization in their first few weeks. But they are now in a new foster home where they are blossoming into happy, social young pups. Lizzy is very playful with her little brother and she loves running the length of the backyard and hunting for sticks. They're working hard on the potty training. Lizzy is the larger and more fearless of the two pups. Very curious and loves to explore. If you'd like to make Lizzy part of your family, please go to the "How to Adopt" page and fill out an online application. A volunteer will follow up with you.

 Ricky
Pit bull terrier - 3 years old - male

Ricky is a one-in-a-million! This little guy had been hanging out on the streets for who knows how long, when one of our volunteers pulled over to see if she could help him and he jumped right in her car. He was scratched up, skinny, dirty and personality unknown when she took him to our vet. Turns out he's Mr. Personality, and an absolute charmer. He loves everyone. All other dogs, big and small, kids, adults, and he thinks cats are great, too. He is exactly why we love the bullies! Ricky is an energetic, smallish little pit bull, 2-3 years old. If you would like to make Ricky a part of your family, please go to the "How to Adopt" page and submit an online application. A volunteer will then follow up with you.

McKinley
Doberman mix - 1 year old - female

ADOPTED

Miss McKinley is a young doberman mix, maybe some shepherd, maybe some rottweiler? She is the most LOVELY girl dog, very gentle, very sweet and very calm. McKinley is one of those dogs you can't resist giving a hug!  McKinley crates very well though her foster dad hasn't seen much need to crate her. She was living outdoors before coming to her foster home, so she is very happy lounging out on the deck in the backyard. And she very much wants the little foster puppy to play with her and is so gentle with the little ones. She does tend to follow her foster dad around like a shadow if allowed. Just wants to be with people. If you'd like this sweet, gentle big lovely dog, please go to the "How to Adopt" page and submit an online application. A volunteer will then contact you.

Vanilla
Pit mix - 1 year old - female

ADOPTED

Miss Vanilla is a petite pitbull terrier mix, about a year old. She is sweet as sweet can be! She has some really cute markings on her face..looks like she put lipstick on.  Black lipstick. Vanilla has been living outdoors for most of her life, we think. So we weren't sure what her house manners would be like at her foster home - they are very good! She crates well, seems completely house trained and will even whine to let you know she needs to go out. She does tend to put her feet up on the counter but that's because she is super excited about food - don't think she ate very regularly before coming to her foster home. Vanilla is wonderful with other dogs and LOVES people. She will make a great family pet. If you'd like to adopt Vanilla, please go to the "How to Adopt" page and submit an online application.

oreo

Oreo
Lab mix - 5 years old - male

Oreo is a total sweetheart! He'll sleep with you (his preference), or he'll settle nicely on his own bed if you ask him to. He's housebroken and loves to go on walks. He was rescued off the streets by an 80-year-old gentleman who also has 2 smaller female dogs and taking care of all three is just too difficult a task for him at his age. The biggest challenge is that Oreo will jump the four foot fence they have (still very spry at 5 years old!), so he can't go out in the yard without being leashed. So Oreo needs a home with a higher fence, or a younger person who can take him on some nice long walks. If you're looking for a great family dog that is ready to go and easy - no destructive puppy habits or accidents in the house - Oreo is your guy! To apply for Oreo, go to our website: www.citypetrescue.com, and look for the ADOPT page.

Oreo's adoption fee is $75.00. He is neutered, current on vaccinations and on flea and heartworm preventative.

spika

SPIKA
American Staffordshire Terrier - 3 yrs. old - female

Spika has the softest coat imaginable. She's just over 3 years old now. Spika loves even the postman, who brings her a treat every day...imagine that! She would do great w/ a boy dog or is quite content all on her own. She prefers to sleep with her person, but is very good about going to her own bed if told to do so. She loves her walks, and, of course, to go for rides to the store.

If you have room in your heart and home for this loving girl, please go to our ADOPT page and fill out an application.

Spika's adoption fee is $75.00.
