Wally

Hi!  Just wanted to let you know that Wally is doing really well.  He is happy, and even mingled at the Halloween party we had at the house this weekend.  He came as super dog, as you can see from the picture.  The other is just of him and Marcus playing.  :)  I hope you are doing well, and we can't thank you enough for taking care of Wally until we found him.  Feels like we've had him a lot longer than the 2 months or so it's been. Laura

Isaac aka Mattie
Update on Isaac (Now Mattie). When we first saw Isaac he was quite timid and scared
but we couldn't resist those puppy eyes. Now that he has perked up; his personality is
really starting to shine! Mattie is so sweet and adorable; every where we go someone
stops to ask about him. He loves playing with our families and their pets too.
Thank you for such a loving dog; hopefully we can make it out to Petsmart soon
so you all can see him.
Mattie.

Isis
I wanted to let you know that Isis is doing very well! I really enjoy having her around. She is definitely a well-loved child, and I do not have any trouble with her being deaf and partially blind.  We get along just fine as you can see.

Thanks, Kim

Butternut
Thanks for arranging to have Butternut at the PetsMart on Saturday. My husband and I adore him and knew within minutes that he was the one for us! We brought him home after buying all the necessities and introduced him to the rooms in our house and his crate. He seems content to lounge around in whichever room we are in. Our cats are trying to figure out what/who Butternut is. That will just take time and patience. No problem! Attached are some pictures of him in his new home. Could you pass along my sincere thanks to Butternut's foster mom for having such compassion and for taking him into her care? He is a wonderful dog. With much gratitude, Teresa & Steve

Daisey

We want to let you know that we absolutely LOVE Daisy (we stuck with the
name you gave her because it fits her so well). She is such a sweet dog and
the kids adore her. She has been exploring the house and backyard. She has
already found a couple of secret hiding spots in the house for her 'puppy
naps'. She has had a couple of piddle accidents that the Little Green Clean
Machine took care of. She slept in her pet crate last night in our bedroom.
She only cried for a minute before going right to sleep. We took her out to
potty every couple of hours. Reminded me of when my kids were babies! ......

She is doing great. She now weighs over 9 pounds, almost double in size. She walks the kids to school, she went to their soccer games this weekend, and she gets lots of playtime and lovin'. Definitely spoiled!
Thanks again. Michael & Colleen

Chuckie & Tommie
The boys (Chuckie & Tommy) are doing great. Of course, we changed their names. Chuckie is now Phillipe and Tommy is Pierre. They have had no problems adjusting to their new home.  They love to go out in the yard and are a joy to have with us.  They do like to chew on some things they shouldn't
but we just remove those things and give them one of their toys.  They continued their house breaking without any accidents what-so-ever  Pierre (Tommy) is a little possessive of his food and rawhide chews so we feed them from 2 bowls.  They really love to play and wrestle with each other and we are so glad we have them. I have attached a few pictures but boy are they hard to shoot, won't hold still. Thanks again, Mark & Brenda

  Abby & Otis

Our other basset is Otis. He is 9 years old and he recently lost his lifetime
companion Holly. Holly died on the same day as the pope at the age of 15!!
So Otis has been very sad and howling quite a bit. I thought it would stop, but then
decided that cute Abby might be the solution.

Well, needless to say, they are both very vocal bassets, but it does stop, sometimes.
They seem to like each other, but its not love. I think Otis is still a little confused as to
what is going on. Abby made herself right at home. She is very energetic and loves the
tug toy. Otis barely raises an eyebrow when he sees a toy! Perhaps Abby will inspite him
to be more peppy.

So we are pleased with Abby. My eight year son, declared that she was the best
Mother's Day present ever and she is!
Enjoy the pictures. Jean

  Twinkie (now Reggie)

Just wanted to let you know that Twinkie (Reggie) is doing fine.  She has stayed away from the pool and is one happy puppy.  I've attached some photos for you.

Shadow
Boy what a difference a teeth cleaning can make...He no longer has
breath that can drive you to tears....He did really well at his appt, well I
guess as well as can be expected...He seemed a little pissed at me when I
picked him up, but all seems to be forgiven now. They had to pull a tooth, I
think another one in the front. I suppose that was probably causing some of
the smell. Rotten teeth can do that...

Anyway..I have sent along a pic of my guy...you might notice that he has
put on a pound or two... I think he weighed 14 when you took him to the
vet..he now weighs about 17...eeks...diet dog food for him from now
on... take care...Lisa

Pippen

I adopted Pippin last weekend and I just wanted to let you know that Pippin is doing great. I am amazed at how quickly he has adjusted to his new home. My other dog, Josie, is thrilled at having such wonderful brother, particularly one that loves to play. Thanks for taking such good care of him & all of the other dogs you rescue.

Liz
